late blight in Potato

One of the major crops in India "Potato", has been repeatedly suffering from fatal disease (primarily identified as) late blight. Our research team observed dramatic survival effects of soluble fertilizers, on this crop. It is found, applied plots under critically designed soluble fertilizer schedules survived through the attack with just 1 or 2 sprays of fungicides.Whereas others could not resist despite numerous fungicide applications. We are going deep into the study. We believe there should be experiments going on worldwide and it would be excellent have knowledge of the development.
